ABOUT THESE BOOKEND SCULPTURES: These are wonderful RARE Eagle
bookend sculptures. They have a real look to them and you are sure to get plenty of comments on them up on our shelf.
They are either cast bronze or brass plated with nickel or chrome. There is
the obvious age related wear of the plating especially at the weld joints between the body and wings.
The marble bases do have a couple of minor chips which are hard to capture but will be in the photos. The beak of one seems to have had a casting issue or a minor repair, again please see the photos. None of these minor defects detract from the overall quality of the bookends.
